Why Choose Custom Logo Stickers

Choose your bottle label based on how it will be used, its exposure to moisture, the look you want, and whether labels will be applied by hand or machine. Our bottle labels can be used on both glass and plastic bottles.

What Bottle Label Material Should I Choose?

  • Paper Labels work best for dry applications and are not water resistant.

  • Laminated Labels are water resistant and better suited for bottles exposed to everyday moisture, condensation, or frequent handling. They are not recommended for prolonged or continuous submersion in water.

Bottle Label Material Options

Paper Labels

  • Glossy Paper — Smooth and glossy for added shine and color.

  • Matte Recycled Paper — Writable recycled paper with a smooth matte finish.

  • Kraft Paper — Writable brown kraft paper with a natural, textured look.

Laminated Labels – available with glossy or matte lamination.

  • White BOPP — Opaque white material for vibrant full-color printing.

  • Clear BOPP — Transparent material for a clean, no-label look that lets glass or plastic packaging show through.

  • Holographic BOPP — Light-reactive material that adds shimmer and visual impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Laminated Labels are the better choice for bottles that may experience everyday moisture or condensation. Choose from White BOPP, Clear BOPP, or Holographic BOPP, all available with glossy or matte lamination.

Laminated Labels are water resistant, but they are not recommended for prolonged or continuous submersion in water.

Paper Labels are not water resistant and are best for dry applications.

The best label size depends on your bottle’s size, shape, and how much coverage you want. Some brands choose a full-wrap label, while others prefer a smaller front label.

Use our sizing guide to find recommended dimensions for common bottle sizes.

Yes. Bottle labels can be applied to both glass and plastic bottles. For best results, apply your labels to a clean, dry surface.

The backing is the liner your labels sit on before application, and because all bottle labels are finished on rolls, the right backing depends on how you plan to apply them.

  • Applying labels by hand? Choose Paper Backing.

  • Using a labeling machine? Choose PET Backing, available for Glossy and Matte White BOPP Laminated Labels only.

The main difference is the label material and finish, which changes how your packaging looks and performs.

  • Glossy Labels are made from white BOPP polypropylene with a shiny laminated finish that makes colors look bold and vibrant. Best for food, beverage, cosmetics, and retail packaging.

  • Matte Labels are made from white BOPP polypropylene with a smooth, low-glare laminate. They create a softer premium look that works well for wellness, luxury, and minimalist brands.

  • Clear Labels are made from transparent polypropylene film so your packaging shows through the label. Popular for glass jars, bottles, candles, and products that need a clean “no-label” look.

  • Holographic Labels are made from holographic polyester material that reflects rainbow-like color in the light. Great for eye-catching packaging, promotional products, and limited-edition designs.

All label types are finished on rolls with permanent adhesive and are available in glossy or matte laminate options.

For dry applications, choose from:

  • Glossy Paper Labels — Smooth paper with a glossy finish that adds shine and enhances color.

  • Matte Recycled Paper Labels — Writable recycled paper with a smooth matte finish.

  • Kraft Paper Labels — Writable brown kraft paper with a natural, textured look.

Paper Labels are not water resistant.

Start with a clean, dry bottle surface. Position the label carefully, then smooth it onto the bottle gradually rather than pressing down the entire label at once.

Bottle shape can also affect application, especially on curved surfaces.
